American Legion 9-11, 25 Years Later

In this episode of Community Conversation for Northeast Nevada, Megan Ray sits down with Brenda Horton and Brian Riley of the American Legion to remember the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. They reflect on the lives lost, the courage of first responders and ordinary Americans, the servicemembers who answered the call in the years that followed, and why the promise to Never Forget remains so important a quarter-century later. The conversation also looks at the importance of teaching younger generations about 9/11 and preserving its history, along with details about the upcoming 9/11 presentation in front of Elko City Hall at the community’s September 11 Memorial. Community Conversation for Northeast Nevada is hosted by Megan Ray and proudly sponsored by Gallagher Ford, and Neff’s Diesel Repair & Performance.
