Elko F.I.S.H.

On this episode of Community Conversation, host Megan Ray sits down with Pastor Tim Royal, Director of Elko F.I.S.H. (Friends In Service Helping), to discuss how the organization continues to meet the growing needs of individuals and families across Northeastern Nevada. Learn about the many services F.I.S.H. provides, including its food pantry, Samaritan House emergency shelter, volunteer opportunities, community partnerships, and the ongoing need for donations. Pastor Tim also shares how local residents, businesses, churches, and civic groups can make a meaningful difference by giving their time, talents, or financial support. We also spotlight the upcoming Spaghetti Extravaganza Fundraiser on Friday, July 31, 2026, where every meal purchased helps support the mission of Elko F.I.S.H. and the residents of Samaritan House. Whether you’re looking to volunteer, donate, attend the fundraiser, or simply learn more about one of Elko County’s longest-serving nonprofits, this conversation is one you won’t want to miss.
