Forever Hugs

On this episode of Community Conversation for Northeast Nevada, Megan Ray sits down with Jeannie Barnard, founder of Forever Hugs Foundation, as the organization celebrates three years of helping children during difficult and traumatic moments. Jeannie shares how Forever Hugs has grown through partnerships with the Carlin Volunteer Fire Department, Elko Fire Department, Elko County Sheriff’s Office, Elko Police Department, local EMTs, the Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Nevada Institute of Forensic Nursing. They also talk about Forever Hugs’ goal of expanding into more rural Nevada communities and eventually throughout the state.
